A capture window is reduced to a signature. The signature composes the plate. The same window always yields the same image, and no window can be captured twice.

Compose a plate to start a history.

The plate shown on load uses a placeholder timestamp hash. Press "Compose plate" to trigger a real HF capture via local_server.py — the signature becomes a SHA-256 of the captured spectrum, and everything downstream is unchanged.
